Ian Fieldhouse, MA(Cantab), FCA, Group Chief Financial Officer

Ian has 25 years’ experience in senior financial, commercial and strategic management roles in high growth and acquisitive companies including US Sprint, Alcatel, Lucent Technologies, InterSystems, Intralinks and Alere. He also set up his own consultancy providing advice on management information systems, performance reporting, change management and tax and accounting services. He was part of the team that spun Avaya Inc & Bell Labs from Lucent as a separate company listed on the NYSE in 2000. He acted as International CFO for Intralinks Inc, A SaaS company, in 2009-11 during which time the company had successful initial public offering on the NYSE. During 2012-13 Ian was Group Finance Director for the European operations of Alere Inc, which provides toxicology and forensics services.

Ian graduated in Mathematics and Economics from Cambridge University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse. He continued to work for PW in both the UK and Hong Kong during which time he worked extensively with US and European multinationals and high growth new technology companies.

Professor Frederick Rowell, Ph.D., Senior Advisor, Chemistry

Professor Rowell has over 34 years of research and development experience and has specialized in analytical chemistry with an emphasis on chemical analysis using nanoparticles. The patents licensed to the company stem from his research. He has been the author of over 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and has generated £2.1 million in research grants from industry, charity and UK / EU government and funding agencies.

Eamonn Cooney, Managing Director, ArroGen SupraNano

Eamonn is a chemistry graduate via the University of London Institute of Education, and has over 25 years experience in senior international sales and marketing management having focused on both medical, life science and hi-tech scientific industries. This has included major OEMs and ex university start ups. Other experience includes international business consultancy e.g. Intra Mezzo (London), initiation and formation of JVCs, and establishment of overseas commercial operations. Eamonn has worked with innovative companies such as Kromek Ltd, Analytical Nanotechnologies, Nucletron BV, Bede Scientific, The Saint-Gobain Group, Astra Pharmaceuticals, Cobe Labs Ltd. and Abbott Labs Inc.

John Owen, Managing Director, ArroGen Forensics Ltd

John is a veteran manager who has more than three decades of experience in forensics. He worked in various technical and management roles during 33 years at the Forensic Science Service (FSS) in the UK. He started there as a biology reporting officer, reporting all aspects of body fluid work, including fibres and blood pattern analysis, and attending many crime scenes including high-profile homicides. He later became operations manager at Chepstow FSS, responsible for about 80 staff.
In 2012, after the FSS was closed, John joined Manlove Forensics as operations manager. At ArroGen Forensics, he is responsible for all facets of the operation including service delivery, human resources, quality, account management, profit and loss, and new business.
John holds a BSc in biochemistry from Sheffield University.

Latha Sundar Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer, ArroGen SupraNano

Dr. Sundar’s expertise is in analytical chemistry and is one of the original members of the R&D team and key contributor in the development of the company’s intellectual property and patents portfolio. Located in the company’s Newcastle R&D laboratory she has worked extensively with Dr. Frederick Rowel and his team in the on-going development of nanoparticle applications. Dr. Sundar is responsible for the management of the research and development operation in collaboration with Dr. Rowel and Dr. Sandquist, Group Chief Scientific Officer.
